“Grey is a Fond Colour” in four parts.

GREY IS A FOUND COLOUR (IN FOURTHS) Early 2014 The Self wonders the landscape whence its Body fell. The duality of the Psyche is fragile, broken again and again. Repaired again and again. Two does not know if it is One or the reciprocal; the useless, repaired vase. Loneliness overwhelms. The imaginary friend keeps appearing. A child with a greyscale mind convulses. It nears so close to breaking.

Keep Closing (from Grey is a Fond Colour) (2014)

Video. 8 minutes.

GREY IS A FOND COLOUR (IN FOURTHS) Early 2014. The Vision of the Self becomes unrecognizable. The Vision is separated from the Body. Experiential tendons, muscles and bone begin to realize the reflection, the Narcissus, as artificial. The Body tries to compensate, rejecting this presence by acknowledging Shade and sacrificing the Seen. The Self continues to find someone to occupy the un-started conversation.

Dimly Lit (from Grey is a Fond Colour) (2014)

Video. 7 minutes.

GREY IS A FOND COLOUR (IN FOURTHS) Early 2014. The colour Grey. The colour is neither white nor black; it both and the medias res. It is an identity on its own. It is the number two as it is the number one. ‘Mundane’ becomes an identity, a moniker of the halves of the Self. The Lone.

Things Folded in Half (from Grey is a Fond Colour) (2014)

Video. 6 minutes.

GREY IS A FOND COLOUR (IN FOURTHS) Early 2014 The Self. The psyche acknowledges the reflection. The identity of two and of one subverts the Self-conversation. The conversation has no placement of time, so whom am I talking to? The Narcissus.
